Creative minds make a statement
Khadija Larens and Bülent Öcal founded Larens together in 2010. These two creative minds of the luxury label both studied fashion design. Khadija Larens, who was born in Karlsruhe, graduated from the University of Art and Music in Bremen and has been a successful designer since 1988. Bülent Öcal studied at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld and has been working as a designer in the fashion industry since 1991. Their shared vision is to make a statement against consumerism, focusing on outstanding craftsmanship, durability and timeless design.
Craft tradition and global presence
Larens Zurich maintains reliable partnerships with small European manufacturers, craft artists and ateliers. The cotton weaving mill is located in picturesque Bergamo, Italy, where particularly fine yarns are processed. Larens Zurich's blouses and dresses are made on the enchanting Lake Maggiore. Respect for animals and the environment is particularly important to the founders of Larens. Today, the Larens Zurich brand is sold in over 40 exclusive fashion boutiques, mainly in Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Recently, it has also been available in London and New York.
