The Scottish fashion label Barrie impresses with luxurious cashmere fashion for men and women. The intricate 3D embroidery in their collections is just as impressive as the colourful details. Whether jumpers, T-shirts, skirts or trousers: the combination of high-quality materials and unique designs inspires wearers worldwide. Barrie is one of the oldest cashmere factories in Scotland. The factory, which initially focussed on the production of stockings, was founded in Hawick in 1903. In 1920, the company also specialised in the manufacture of clothing, particularly T-shirts and jumpers. Chanel acquired Barrie, a long-standing customer, in 2012. Since 2018, Frenchman Augustin Dol-Maillot has taken over the creative side of the luxury label Barrie.
